OKLAHOMA FLAG TEAM
Following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, the United States experienced a heightened sense of patriotic spirit. At the first football game following the terrorist attacks, OU students presented a giant American flag to a stadium of 75,00 fans and countless television viewers. Twenty-five members of Delta Beta joined 300 other students. Following the presentation, President David Boren bestowed Delta Beta with the honor of presenting a giant Oklahoma state flag (130' x 80') at all future home games. Running the Oklahoma state flag has become one of the most beloved traditions in our chapter.
PHILANTHROPY
Philanthropy has an impact beyond the campus and community. We strive to provide service to these organizations in both the volunteer support and fundraising areas. Here are just a few examples of chapter fundraising projects.
